This page explains the cookies and similar trackers used on butterflybusiness.in (and www.butterflybusiness.in), why we use them, and how you can control or refuse them. Butterfly Business Solutions is a service-area CCTV and IT-support business serving Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, Gujarat, and this website is mainly here so you can learn about our work and get in touch.

What cookies and trackers are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Along with similar technologies such as tags, pixels and browser local storage, they let a site work properly, remember choices, and measure how it is used. Some are set by us, and some by third-party services we have added to the site (such as Google). This page covers all of these together.

The cookies and trackers we use

1. Strictly necessary (site function and security)

Our website is hosted and protected through Cloudflare. Cloudflare may set basic cookies that are needed to load pages, keep the site secure, and tell genuine visitors apart from automated or malicious traffic. These do not track you for advertising. Because they are essential to the site working safely, they cannot really be switched off without affecting the site.

2. Analytics - Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-CTCS7MX8D7), a service provided by Google, to understand how people use our site - for example, how many visitors we get, which pages they read, where they came from, and roughly which city and device they used. This helps us improve the site and see which services people are interested in.

Google Analytics uses a randomly generated identifier; it does not tell us your name. Google processes this data on our behalf, and some of it may be processed and stored on Google's servers, including outside India. We do not use it to identify you personally.

3. Marketing - Google Ads conversion tag

We sometimes advertise our services on Google. Our site includes a Google Ads conversion tag (ID AW-18244577107), set by Google. Its job is to tell us when a visit came from one of our Google ads and whether you then did something useful, such as submitting the contact form or clicking to call. This is conversion measurement - it helps us understand whether our advertising is working. It is a marketing tracker, not essential to the site, and you can refuse it without breaking anything.

Other tools on this site that are not cookies

A few features on our site hand you over to other apps rather than tracking you with cookies:

• WhatsApp click-to-chat: our WhatsApp button is simply a link. When you tap it, your device opens WhatsApp and starts a chat with us on +91 83471 71266. From that point your message is handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under their own terms, and we receive your number and message.
• Click-to-call: our phone link opens your dialer with our number; the call is carried by your telephone provider. No cookie is set.
• Contact form: when you submit the form you choose to share details such as your name, phone, email and message so we can respond. This is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not take card payments on this website and we do not store any payment-card information.

We do not sell your personal data

We do not sell your personal data to anyone. The analytics and advertising tools above share data with Google so those services can work, and we share contact-form details only as needed to respond to you or where the law requires. There is more detail in our Privacy Policy.

How you can control or refuse cookies

We do not currently show a separate cookie-consent banner, so analytics and marketing cookies may be set when you visit. You remain in control, and you can block or remove them at any time:

• Your browser settings: every major browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox and others) lets you block or delete cookies, or warn you before one is set. Check your browser's Help or Settings menu.
• Google's own controls: you can turn off personalised advertising and review what Google tracks through Google's "My Ad Center" and ad-settings pages, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on. Google publishes the current cookie lifespans and controls in its own help pages.
• Device-level controls: on a phone or tablet, your device settings also offer ad and tracking controls.

If you block analytics or advertising cookies, the website will still work and you can still call, WhatsApp, or email us as usual. Blocking strictly necessary cookies, however, may stop some pages or security features from working correctly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy if the tools on our site change. The current version is always the one on this page; the date it was last updated is shown by the page.
